CSO Telescopes
This is the interior of the Cochise Skies Observatory. The observatory is located just south of Sierra Vista, Arizona, has a roll-off roof, and it houses several telescopes including a C-11 EdgeHD on the pier, and a 14.5-inch f/4.9 AstroSystems Dobsonian.

To reduce vibrations, the pier is 18 inches in diameter and rebar reinforced. It is also sunk below the foundation, and does not touch the floor except through sand. The roll-off roof is more than a ton of steel, rolls on steel wheels, and can be rolled with one hand.
