Bob and Barb Kepple's Desert Starlight Observatory

Bob and Barb Kepple moved here from Pennsylvania and took residence in Palominas in 2003. Bob almost immediately started building his observatory in the back yard to house his Celestron C11, a 16" Dobsonian and a 22" Dobsonian.

Bob is co-author, along with Glen Sanner, of the very popular astronomy book set, "The Night Sky Observer's Guide, published by Willmann-Bell.

Here are just a few photographs of Bob and his observatory. I've asked him to send a few more in that shows the building with the roof rolled back and some inside views
